KIA WARRANTY
Kia warrants that your new vehicle is covered against defects
in material and workmanship, subject to some terms and conditions
- please check with your Kia dealer who will explain these
terms and conditions. This means an authorised Kia servicing
dealer will make all necessary repairs to correct any warrantable
concern covered by the Kia new Vehicle Warranty without charge
to you.
The Kia New Vehicle Warranty is 5 years or 130,000 kilometres
(whichever occurs first). Passenger vehicles also have the
benefit of a 5 year Body Corrosion Warranty which covers any
body panel that contains a physical hole (from the inside
out) through a body panel due to corrosion, caused as a result
of a manufacturing fault, within this period. The Kia New
Vehicle warranty commences from the date the vehicle is first
registered or first commercial use of the vehicle (whichever
occurs first).
In addition, Kia also provides a 12 month or 20,000 kilometre
(whichever occurs first) warranty on all genuine Kia parts
and accessories commencing from the date the item/s are purchased
from an authorised Kia dealer. Genuine parts and accessories
fitted prior to retail delivery of the vehicle will be covered
by the Kia New Vehicle Warranty.
